Problem Statement Description
You are the product lead preparing to launch a creator sponsorship marketplace that connects brands or agencies with creators for paid campaigns. The launch must coordinate multiple cross-functional squads, such as marketplace matching, creator onboarding, brand campaign setup, payments, trust and safety, analytics, customer support, and sales or partnerships. Your plan should optimize for customer satisfaction across both sides of the marketplace, not just launch speed.
The core workflow includes brands discovering suitable creators, briefing campaigns, negotiating terms, approving content, tracking delivery, and completing payment, while creators need clear opportunities, transparent expectations, reliable payouts, and support when disputes arise. Common launch risks include poor match quality, delayed campaign execution, creator churn, brand disappointment, operational overload, unclear ownership, and gaps between product readiness and go-to-market promises.
Focus on how you would structure the launch execution plan: what needs to happen before, during, and after launch; which teams own which workstreams; how dependencies are managed; how readiness is measured; and how customer feedback is captured and acted upon. You do not need to propose a full product design or marketplace algorithm, but you should show how the launch plan protects customer trust and service quality.
The experience should consider:
- Clear launch scope, including target customer segment, geography, creator categories, campaign types, and any beta or phased rollout boundaries.
- Cross-functional ownership across product, engineering, design, operations, sales, marketing, legal, finance, support, and trust and safety.
- Key dependencies such as creator supply onboarding, brand demand generation, payment flows, content approval workflows, policy enforcement, and reporting.
- Sequencing of milestones from internal testing to pilot customers, limited availability, broader launch, and post-launch stabilization.
- Go/no-go criteria tied to customer satisfaction, marketplace liquidity, operational readiness, support capacity, reliability, and compliance.
- Communication plans for internal squads, launch stakeholders, creators, brands, and support teams.
- Launch risks, mitigation plans, escalation paths, and rollback or pause criteria if customer experience degrades.
- Post-launch feedback loops, including customer satisfaction signals, cohort monitoring, incident reviews, and iteration planning.
The goal is to outline a practical launch plan that aligns cross-functional teams, reduces execution risk, and ensures that creators and brands have a dependable, transparent, and satisfying marketplace experience from the first release onward.
