Product context: Tesla is an electric vehicle, energy, and software company; its products include EVs, charging, vehicle software, Autopilot/FSD features, energy storage, and solar products.
Tesla is preparing to introduce or expand Robotaxi capabilities globally while protecting the experience of existing users, especially road-trippers who depend on predictable routing, vehicle availability, charging access, safety, and trip continuity across long distances. You are asked to design an execution plan for a phased migration that moves users, markets, and operational systems toward Robotaxi usage without creating disruption, trust loss, or safety incidents.
This is an execution-focused interview question. Your response should define how Tesla would sequence the rollout across geographies, user segments, autonomy readiness levels, charging and service infrastructure, regulatory environments, and support operations.
