Design a pricing experimentation console for agency owners that improves fraud prevention

Problem Statement Description

Agency owners often manage pricing across multiple clients, campaigns, service packages, locations, or customer segments. They may need to test discounts, commissions, fees, bundles, or promotional pricing while protecting revenue quality and client trust. Today, pricing changes can create openings for fraud, such as promo abuse, fake accounts, suspicious order patterns, lead fraud, chargeback spikes, or unauthorized internal changes.

Design a pricing experimentation console that helps agency owners set up, monitor, and manage pricing experiments with fraud prevention built into the workflow. The experience should support non-technical business users who need confidence that experiments are valid, compliant, and not being distorted by suspicious behavior.

Focus on the end-to-end product experience: how an agency owner defines an experiment, selects eligible audiences, sets pricing rules, reviews risk signals, launches safely, monitors performance, and takes action when fraud patterns appear. Consider that agencies may operate across many clients and markets, with different permissions, reporting needs, and risk tolerances.

The experience should consider:

- The core users involved, including agency owners, account managers, analysts, finance teams, and client stakeholders.

- The workflow for creating, approving, launching, pausing, and ending pricing experiments.

- How fraud risk is surfaced before launch and during experiment monitoring without overwhelming users.

- Controls for audience eligibility, discount limits, abuse prevention, permissions, and auditability.

- How experiment performance and fraud indicators are shown together so users can make reliable decisions.

- Edge cases such as suspicious traffic spikes, coupon sharing, bot activity, chargebacks, duplicate accounts, or internal misuse.

- The balance between fast experimentation, client flexibility, operational simplicity, and fraud prevention.

- How trust, transparency, accessibility, and global scalability should shape the console experience.

Your goal is to design a clear, practical product experience that enables agency owners to run pricing experiments confidently while reducing opportunities for fraud and preserving the integrity of experiment results.
