Problem Statement Description
You are the PM responsible for executing a personal finance dashboard used by support agents to help customers understand account balances, spending insights, subscriptions, bills, savings goals, and transaction history. The dashboard is intended to increase agent confidence during customer conversations by giving them accurate, timely, and explainable financial context without exposing unnecessary sensitive information.
As launch approaches, multiple stakeholders are pushing conflicting asks. Support leadership wants richer customer context and faster workflows; compliance and privacy teams want stricter data minimization and audit controls; engineering is concerned about reliability and integration complexity; design wants a simpler interface; analytics wants event instrumentation for measuring agent confidence and resolution quality. You need to handle these conflicts while keeping the release on track and reducing launch risk.
Describe how you would drive execution from this point forward: how you would align stakeholders, clarify decision rights, sequence work, manage trade-offs, and ensure the product is safe, usable, measurable, and ready for support-agent adoption.
The experience should consider:
- Clear definition of the launch objective, success criteria, and what “agent confidence” means operationally
- Stakeholder mapping across support, compliance, privacy, engineering, design, analytics, and customer experience
- Prioritization of conflicting asks based on customer impact, agent workflow value, risk, effort, and launch dependency
- Ownership model, decision-making process, escalation paths, and communication cadence
- Sequencing of requirements, data integrations, permissions, training, QA, instrumentation, and rollout
- Go/no-go criteria, launch readiness checks, rollback or fallback plans, and incident response expectations
- Risks around sensitive financial data, inaccurate information, agent misuse, latency, accessibility, and inconsistent customer outcomes
- Post-launch monitoring, feedback loops, and iteration plan for improving agent trust and operational efficiency
Your goal is to explain how you would create an executable plan that balances stakeholder needs, protects customer trust, enables support agents to act with confidence, and delivers a controlled launch with measurable business and user outcomes.
