In this interview, you are asked how you would partner with engineering to reduce latency in Gmail while preserving trust, reliability, privacy, and the consistency users expect from a Google product.

- Product trade-offs between faster perceived performance, feature richness, infrastructure cost, battery usage, offline support, and user trust
