Problem Statement Description
Creators often publish under time pressure when an incident is unfolding: a product outage, safety issue, community controversy, misinformation spike, account compromise, live-event disruption, or other situation where their audience expects fast, accurate updates. In these moments, the quality of writing directly affects trust, escalation load, and potential harm, but creators may lack legal, policy, comms, or crisis-response support.
Design an AI writing review experience for creators that helps them evaluate incident-related drafts before publishing. The product should fit into a creator’s existing workflow across drafting, editing, approval, publishing, and follow-up updates, while accounting for uncertainty, incomplete facts, audience sensitivity, and platform policy risk.
Focus on the creator-facing experience: what inputs the AI needs, how feedback is presented, how creators retain control, how the product handles high-stakes or ambiguous content, and how it supports faster, safer incident response without becoming a blocker or generic grammar checker.
The experience should consider:
- The specific creator segments and incident types you are designing for, such as independent creators, brand accounts, community managers, educators, or live-event hosts.
- The end-to-end workflow from incident detection or awareness to drafting, review, publishing, corrections, and post-incident learning.
- The types of writing risks the AI should identify, including unclear facts, harmful phrasing, missing context, policy violations, escalation needs, tone mismatch, or audience confusion.
- How the review experience balances speed, accuracy, creator autonomy, and responsible AI use during urgent situations.
- What context the system may need, such as prior posts, audience expectations, platform policies, incident severity, known facts, and approval requirements.
- How to design for trust, transparency, accessibility, multilingual use, and creators with different levels of crisis-communication experience.
- How the product should handle edge cases, including misinformation, legal sensitivity, abuse, coordinated harassment, emergencies, or low-confidence AI feedback.
Your goal is to define a clear product experience that improves the quality and speed of creator communication during incidents, while reducing avoidable harm and preserving creator control.
