Problem Statement Description
Product context: Tesla is an electric vehicle, energy, and software company; its products include EVs, charging, vehicle software, Autopilot/FSD features, energy storage, and solar products.
Estimate the infrastructure or operational capacity Tesla would need to support its Service experience for commuter customers in a defined market. Think of commuters as owners who rely on their Tesla for daily travel and therefore have low tolerance for downtime, uncertain appointment availability, or long repair turnaround times.
The estimate should focus on the capacity required to keep service access reliable as the commuter customer base grows. The experience should consider:

Your goal is to produce a clear, defensible guesstimate that shows how Tesla could translate commuter service demand into operational capacity requirements, while highlighting the assumptions and trade-offs that would most affect the final estimate.
