Design a new feature in Experience Cloud that helps video editors achieve better outcomes

Problem Statement Description

Product context: Adobe is a creative, document, and marketing software company; its products include Creative Cloud, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, Adobe Express, Firefly, and Experience Cloud.

Adobe Experience Cloud is used by brands and enterprises to manage, personalize, measure, and optimize digital customer experiences. Video editors increasingly create content not just for artistic quality, but for measurable business outcomes across channels such as web, mobile, social, email, commerce, and paid media.

Design a new feature in Experience Cloud that helps video editors improve the effectiveness of the videos they produce. The feature should fit within Adobe’s broader ecosystem and support editors who may collaborate with marketers, creative directors, analysts, and campaign managers. Focus on the workflow friction editors face when trying to understand what “better outcomes” means, how their edits influence performance, and how they can act on feedback without disrupting the creative process.

Your design should consider an enterprise setting where teams manage many video variants, brand guidelines, approval workflows, audience segments, campaign objectives, and performance data. The goal is not to redesign a video editing tool from scratch, but to identify a meaningful Experience Cloud feature that helps video editors make better creative decisions and connect their work to downstream results.

The experience should consider:

- Who the primary video editor users are, what jobs they are trying to accomplish, and how they currently collaborate with marketing and analytics teams.

- What “better outcomes” means in this context, such as engagement, conversion, retention, brand consistency, production speed, or campaign effectiveness.

- Where the feature fits in the video creation, review, publishing, personalization, and measurement workflow.

- What data, insights, or feedback the editor needs before, during, or after editing to make better decisions.

- How the experience should handle multiple audiences, channels, formats, campaign goals, and creative variants.

- How the feature builds trust with professional creators, especially if AI-generated recommendations, automation, or predictive insights are involved.

- How collaboration, permissions, approvals, and enterprise governance should work across creative and marketing stakeholders.

- How success of the feature could be evaluated from both user experience and business outcome perspectives.

The goal is to define a clear user problem, propose a focused product experience, and explain why it would be valuable for video editors and for Adobe Experience Cloud customers.
