Design a support automation for creators that improves resolution speed

Problem Statement Description

Creators on large-scale platforms depend on fast, accurate support to keep their channels, storefronts, communities, or monetization workflows running. When issues such as account access, payout delays, content moderation appeals, policy questions, copyright disputes, product bugs, or audience-impacting outages occur, slow resolution can directly affect creator income, trust, and willingness to keep investing in the platform.

Design a support automation experience that helps creators get issues resolved faster while preserving quality, fairness, and confidence. The scope should focus on the creator-facing support journey as well as the operational handoff to human agents when automation cannot safely or completely resolve the issue.

This is a product design problem, so center the discussion on creator needs, support workflow friction, prioritization of use cases, and the end-to-end experience. Consider how the product should identify the issue, gather the right context, guide the creator, provide status visibility, and escalate appropriately without making creators feel trapped in an unhelpful automated loop.

The experience should consider:

- Key creator segments, such as new creators, professional creators, high-revenue creators, agencies, or creators in different geographies and languages

- High-frequency and high-urgency support scenarios where resolution speed matters most

- The current support journey, including discovery, ticket creation, triage, back-and-forth clarification, escalation, and closure

- What information automation should collect or infer to reduce creator effort and agent handling time

- How to balance automated self-service, AI-assisted troubleshooting, policy guidance, and human support

- Trust, transparency, and creator confidence when automation gives guidance or makes decisions

- Accessibility, localization, policy sensitivity, privacy, and responsible AI constraints

- Success measures such as time to resolution, contact rate, escalation quality, reopen rate, creator satisfaction, and operational efficiency

The goal is to define a creator support automation product experience that materially reduces resolution time for the most important creator problems while maintaining accuracy, empathy, and trust at platform scale.
